what i'm liking the sound of: parker and i were dancing to stevie wonder's 'uptight' yesterday. no, it's not a christmas song. but regardless, it was fun to dance to. he likes dancing, i do believe. but, as for a christmas song... i'm enjoying chris isaak's rendition of 'have yourself a merry little christmas.' the man can sing (remember 'wicked games'? that song makes me weak in the knees.)
what i'm liking the smell of: coffee in the morning. whether you like it or not, is there anything better than the smell of coffee in the morning? maybe cinnamon buns? oh! and the smell of this cooking. it was divine to smell... and to eat.
what i'm liking the feel of: parker's soft skin. baby skin is the softest thing ever.
what i'm liking the taste of: this is sad, but i'm sportin' a cold right now so i can't taste much of anything. meh. i will say that while i don't love the taste, i love the D that my cod liver oil is giving me to fight my cold. boring.
what i'm liking the sight of: my kids reading. there is nothing better than seeing kids read. amen? (unfortunately, at times this sight is few and far between. i mean, why would they... tv is so much more fun!!!)

ReplyDeletei will definitely agree with the coffee and the baby skin. and their skin is just as silky at 4 yrs old. and btw tate is jamming to stevie on his new musical set he got from my mom for Christmas yesterday. drums and cymbals at 8am!

Nope. Waking up to bacon is the BEST thing. Sigh... I know why Michael Scott had a foreman grill full of bacon at the foot of his bed.
