my little boy.

Friday, November 11, 2011

at times, these days, it feels more appropriate to call him a boy... he is growing so fast!  newborn days, be gone!  he's reading!  look... evidence above!  anyway, he is seriously such a pleasure.  he is happy most all the time and he's always discovering.  when i take him for walks, he looks up at the trees like, "mom.  have you SEEN THESE THINGS?"  full of wonder.  all the time.  we could all learn a thing or two from our babies.  their worlds are so simple and innocent.  even the trees fascinate them.

and happy veterans day!

  8. That little bear sweater is so cute. Someone asked me yesterday over formspring why I always dress EE in stripes, and I was like BECAUSE THEY'RE AWESOME. Anyway, Parkers's bear sweater is AWESOME.

  26. Thanks to the kiddo I work with, I have a new appreciation for watching the trains go by in the morning.

And for dancing. Dancing is his favorite thing to do, and I think I forgot how fun it is to just dance alone, in the living room :)

I get what you're saying though. I'm a Nanny for a little boy who just turned one this past month, and it's so great to see him excited over little things. It's so adorable, and it's great to see things from a little boy's eye.
