I would, under no circumstances, call myself a fan of Kid Rock.  I have heard a handful of songs by him and, mehhh, I can take them or leave them.  This one however gets Steve and I in a total summertime mood and when you find a song that does that, you gotta love it... Kid Rock or no Kid Rock.

Anyone else?  Summertime songs?  I could use the summer-spirit.

  1. Listen to Werewolves of London by Magnolia Electric - same tune, different words. Kid Rock actually used it as the sample for "All Summer Long".

  2. Not a fan either. It think it's the stringy, white trash hair thing he has going. But the song? That I can get into. :)

  3. "American Girl" by Tom Petty...nothing better for road trips with the windows down and the wind in your hair :)

  4. I really think if Kid Rock washed his hair more than once a week, I would like him a whole heck of a lot more. Buuuuuutt, he is actually singing about the town I grew up in [Traverse City, Mi] which is kinda cool. Kinda.
