There's no time like pregnant time to start painting jobs. You know why? Because you can't do them yourself. Muahahaha! I think there'll be some shifting rooms happening in the Hunt house in the next few months or so, and I'm quite sure a gray bedroom would do wonders.
Thank youuuu Apartment Therapy!
Any of you have the perfect gray for me thus ending my search?
I love it! I've been wanting to paint one of our bedroom walls gray for a while now... I might just have to do it now!

ReplyDeleteOb-sessed. That is like tranquility to the max. I'ma need that in my bedroom rightttttt about now.
ReplyDeleteRight now I am obsessed with getting a gray couch. (Then maybe gray walls will follow.) But we have to wait to buy new furniture until I'm out of grad school...and you know.. have money. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it! Gray is one of my favorite colors. When I most recently repainted my bedroom, I wanted to paint it gray. But since I have light brown carpet, it wouldn't have matched. Oh well, maybe someday.
ReplyDeleteLove the gray. It's perfect!
ReplyDeleteI've been so into gray too... I think something's in the water. Gray & babies. lol
ReplyDeleteHolly Mathis interiors uses... Sherwin William’s DOVETAIL. Looks pretty good. I can't wait to try it out.

ReplyDeleteI'm in love with grey bedrooms and these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI like the gray bedroom as well. My bedroom really needs a facelift too. Oh and by the way, I love the "Because you can't do them yourself. Muahahaha!" statement! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis would look beautiful! Congratulations on your baby!! So happy for you!

Gray's a good color choice. Just make sure it's a dark gray. Too light and it would look like a jail cell. Not that I would know..... Kidding!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of paint...how are you doing the nursery?
ReplyDelete@elizabeth, i have no idea!! hopefully we'll narrow some of that down when we find out what we're having...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful grey bedrooms for inspiration. I love grey bedrooms! Soothing and stylish at the same time, we painted our room Behr in Sterling with one darker grey accent wall. Love. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is funny because i just went to the hardware store today and brought home 17 samples of gray. Great minds, great minds...
ReplyDeleteI'm all about grey lately. I'd love to do a baby's room in grey... it's the perfect neutral. These grey rooms look wonderful! Good luck on your search!
ReplyDeleteBridg- Good call, grey is soooo relaxing. I painted my bedroom a deep grey...it was a color from the Ralph Lauren colors...I'm a big fan of thier greys!

ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous, the grey seems to take and reflect light perfectly...that's so nice in a bedroom! Fantabulous! :o)
ReplyDeleteWe've been TTC for 6 months and while there are many reasons why I reeaaaally want to get pregnant asap, painting the soon-to-be nursery is near the top! For the same reason as you too :) I will be sure to "supervise" the hubs though and maybe make him some lunch, when the time comes ;)
ReplyDeleteL-O-V-E gray painted rooms!!! I think it's just so soft and soothing. Hope you get your gray bedroom very soon :-)
ReplyDeletelove the gray walls!! and congrats on your pending arrival ;)

are you looking for a paint color?
ReplyDeletewe used revere pewter from benjamin moore in our master bath and i love it.
there was an article of gray rooms n CL a few years back and she listed her top gray paints and this was one. and we matched our grout to the paint....lovely.
you can google it and it comes up! must be popular!
Oooohhh...love! I'm not pregnant, but maybe I could negotiate a paint job with backrubs and cookies!

ReplyDelete♥ allister bee blog
congrats!!!!!! gah!!! im so excited.
ReplyDeleteA gray wall would be absolutely delightful! I Love the room in the second photo - that is one soothing shade of gray and those floors are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI would die for the first one. Litterally.
ReplyDeleteI love the evil laugh on your post! It's soo true! Though I don't think I could wait until I get pregnant to hassle my husband to paint the hallway..and the kitchen..and the living room.
ReplyDeleteWe thought we were painting the office gray with Behr's "Limelight" but it turned out more green than gray. We tried again with our bedroom with Behr's "Pensive Sky" and that turned out more blue than gray. Yep, next time, the paint color better have the actual word in it. Let us know which paint you use.
you have such a cute & sweet blog :)
ReplyDeletemmm, I would be a happier person in those rooms. I love your blog, so happy that I stumbled across it!
