my friend made the most delicious hot apple cider when i was at her house last night
she carmelized cream, vanilla, and brown sugar, i think?
then added it to normal apple cider and heated it all up.
folks, i don't have the recipe
but it's not like we severed ties last night...
i can get it from her.
in the meantime, i added some cream
and a tad bit of brown sugar to apple cider last night
and it was still pretty yum
it was a lazy version of hers i guess.
not as good, but good things come to those who wait
pretty good things come to those who don't
and it was pretty good.

Hahah that sounds really good! I would love to know the recipe if you can get it from your friend:)

YUM! Love apple cider. My recipe is the SERIOUSLY lazy version, but it's damn good. Get a gallon of store bought cider, stick a large orange with 4-5 cloves, and throw it all in a crockpot with a couple cinnamon sticks (on high for a few hours). Then, voila. Amazing apple cider that took no work whatsoever. My kinda recipe! :)
ReplyDeletei want recipe please!

That TJs apple cider has been my lifeline for the past 2 weeks. Seriously. I might as well stick an IV in and ingest it that way. I'm pretty sure I'm now 25% apple cider. Not that I'm complaining.
