I am dyyyyyyying to get to the Pacific Northwest. I've never been and cities like San Fran, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver are seriously calling out to me. When The Bachelorette had that whole segment in British Columbia--remember? When Deanna was bachelorette? Or was it Jillian? I can't keep 'em straight--on the train I was watching more for the scenery than the whole love connections/rose ceremony (just lied a little bit). When I clicked on this link, I was all the more convinced.

You're killing me! I so want to visit the west coast as well. I've been to CA but I'm dying to go to Seattle. I don't usually share this as I don't think many people view Seattle as a great vacation spot. I think I have romantic notions about it from Sleepless in Seattle and...of course...Jason on the Bachelor. I'm adding this to my list! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteOooo I love San Francisco and Seattle so much! You're making me homesick. You must go! Northern California is so so so much different from Southern, and Seattle is amazing! Haven't been to Portland or Vancouver, but they are definitely on my list.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from a trip to northern Cali ~ is was absolutely STUNNING!! Now I was to see Oregon's coastline!
ReplyDeleteWe honeymooned in San Fran/Napa Valley and it was fabulous, and we went to Seattle for a long weekend, but definitely didn't get out of the city. So with any luck maybe next spring/summer we'll hit up Vancouver. Thanks for reminding me it's on my list! :)
ReplyDeleteOh you will LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteI'm just not sure if you'll want to leave!! :)
The best is the west coast of Vancouver Island....Tofino and Long Beach....stunning!
ReplyDeletesuch great images....dying to go to san fran and portland...
ReplyDeleteI, too, am dying to go to the Pacific Northwest- I've lived in San Francisco, but I missed out on all of the stunning scenery that I've seen all over the blogosphere!
ReplyDeletei am really obsessed with the pacific northwest. specifically seattle. i kind of think san fran shouldn't be considered in that area cause its totally different.
ReplyDeletebut still lovely
and i still think you should come visit.
giirrrrllll, if you ever want to come visit SF, please let me know and we will have gallons of fun....i kid you not dahling...
ReplyDeleteIf I could do it, I would pack up all my stuff and live in Portland. So stunning! These photos make me want to MOVE!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! You're right in wanting to see those places, they are amazing. When I was younger my family did a couple sailing trips through the San Juan Islands.. starting in Seattle and going up through the islands, and then stopping in Victoria, BC. It's just to-die-for scenery, and something you NEED to do... soon:) Get your hubs on that!
ReplyDeleteas a resident of the pacific northwest [portland], i would highly suggest that you visit! i love this place, it even brought me back after four years of living in san diego for college [and not many people escape san diego...]. hope you can travel out here sometime. it's the best.
ReplyDeletePortland is by far my favorite city!! I am seriously considering moving there. San Fran has my heart though and that will never change. Hope all is lovely! XO
ReplyDeletePortland ROCKS! Born and raised - can't imagine calling anywhere else home!
ReplyDeleteI do love visiting other destinations and Vancouver, BC is high on the list!!!
My! I want to be there NOW!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, I want to go there. If I'm thinking correctly, I believe it was Jillian's season that went to British Columbia, and it was absolutely fabulous!! By the way, you and your wedding dress are absolutely stunning! XO.
ReplyDeleteCome to SF! Do it, do it, do it.
ReplyDeletegorgeous pictures. yes please.

i would love to live in san fran for a year or so... i think it would be amazing! the weather is great there. and i just love the atmosphere, it's perfect.
ReplyDeleteif you ever make a trip to the west someday, you should make a pit stop in southern california to visit a certain blogger friend... *ahem*ME*ahem*. just a thought.
;)
I hear ya! I love living on the east coast, but I'm DYING to take a trip out west. Vancouver has been on my mind for a couple years now. Seattle and portland are creaping in. especially since we are considering moving out there in the next couple years.

suuuuch a beautiful area of the country i love seattle and the olympia area in washington. we have a cabin by mt rainier. some of the most breathtaking forests ever!
ReplyDeleteoh the pacific west coast, heaven. I am a born and bred east coaster (nyc) but prefer west coast lifestyle. San Fran is a beautiful city with wild nature close by. My hubs and I chose British Columbia for our winter honeymoon, it was the BEST. I highly recommend both places..
